High school students at Nassau Christian Schools had a fantastic opportunity to explore various career paths at the annual Career Fair held at the Fox Hill Community Center. Representatives from diverse fields such as nursing, dentistry, mortuary science, EMS, banking, Customs Department, Maritime, and law enforcement shared insights with the students.
The Royal Bahamas Police Force was among the vendors, highlighting divisions like surveillance intelligence, drug unit, transportation, I.T, and firearms. Other attendees included the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Immigration, Customs, The University of The Bahamas, and Fidelity Bank.
Principal Mrs. Lisa Miller thanked the vendors and encouraged students to explore the opportunities. Guidance Counselor Rev. Warren Anderson also appreciated the vendors' efforts and urged students to ask questions.
Hon. Fred Mitchell, Member of Parliament for Fox Hill, welcomed the students and emphasized preparation for career opportunities.
The event highlighted the importance of students applying themselves today to pursue their career goals tomorrow. Whether it's math, science, or humanities, every subject plays a role in preparing them for their chosen field.
